The following descriptions are a small sampling of the projects we have been involved with over the years.

Manufacturing
This implementation of an Oracle-based manufacturing system involved extensive customizations and add-ons. It was implemented at five plants on an HP-9000 running Unix. Modifications were made to Bill of Materials, Routings, Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Scheduling, MRP, Shop Floor Control, Finished Goods Receipts and Component Backflush. Add-ons included Scrap Transactions and Usage History.

Distribution Center
This application was developed in-house at a customer site. It was the first implementation of an Oracle-based application for that customer. It was implemented at two distribution centers on an HP-9000 running Unix. The modules developed for this application included Allocations, Picking, Shipping, Receiving, Physical Inventory, DRP and Cost Roll-up. Several interfaces between existing mainframe systems and this application were developed including Orders, Customers and Saleable Products.

Labor Data Collection
This application was developed in-house at a customer site. It involved collecting Time and Attendance data via an Intermec bar code reader. The data collected was transmitted to a server where it was uploaded to an Oracle database. From there the data was formatted and compiled, ready to be used by various reports. An interface was developed to send Time and Attendance data directly to Payroll. Hours were captured by employee, work order, operation and department. Both group and individual labor data was collected. Interactive screens enabled the labor clerk to correct data online when necessary. The types of reports generated included Time and Attendance, Earned Hours, Labor Efficiency, Direct Labor Hours, Indirect Labor Hours, Job Status, Labor Cost Analysis and Performance Reports.

Order Entry
This implementation of Oracle's own Order Entry application involved several interfaces between this application and mainframe or Oracle-based systems. Customizations to several screens were required, including Enter Orders and Enter Customers. In addition, several new screens were developed including interface error maintenance. This was the second implementation of an Oracle Application for this customer. Oracle Financials had been previously implemented.

Web Order Entry
This implementation of Oracle's own Web Customer application involved extensive modifications and add-ons. Modifications were made to User Profile, Registration and the Web Store. Add-ons included a Part Cross-reference, a Catalog Look-up, a Formatted E-mail program, a Returns program, a Check Stock Availability program and an Order Profile program. Data collected in the shopping cart was validated, formatted and loaded into the Order Interface table, ready for Oracle Order Import.
